Brian Ashley is a lifelong entrepreneur who was involved in the early stages of Google rolling out it’s indoor version of Google Street View(GSV) in 2012. While that was state of the art at the time, GSV lacked a major component; the ability to allow interactive content to be embedded within the GSV tours and to include multiple forms of content-rich media within those same tours.
Ashley quickly identified the unique story telling potential for businesses to leverage Matterport Technology in 2014, when it was first introduced by its genius founder Matt Bell at a VR convention in Las Vegas. “For Matt it’s all about how to tell a story so engagingly, that a viewer pictures it instantly. People learn more by seeing, than by hearing or reading”.
Ashley soon formed Luxe 3D Tours to introduce Matterport-based 360° Tours to his local Detroit market.
This technology proved to have a huge impact on his clients’ short and long-term success. Improving their story-telling process, with a mix of interactive imagery of all types, benefits the viewer and increases online engagement as much as 200% in many industries.
All because a young genius figured out solutions to a problem Google had not addressed in a market space they created. Matterport Technology has enjoyed such wide spread acceptance, it is #26 on the Inc 500 Fastest Growing Companies in America List and now showcases over 1,000,000 VR Tours around the globe in 80+ countries.
Luxe 3D Tours provides full 3D Scanning services to its local clients in and around SE Michigan and Ohio, as well as national accounts spanning the US and the globe via the Reality Capture Experts Network.
Services include both ground and aerial videography, professional point of interest still imagery and a mix of all types of aerial capture applications for marketing, property management, residential and commercial real estate, agriculture etc. Aerial is captured by FAA-certified, insured and bonded pilots.
“Sometimes it’s more HOW the story is told than the story itself, that draws your attention.”
W'e serve as a single point of contact to provide 'national coverage at local prices'. We contract and manage projects on several continents and most countries in Europe, UK, Asia,East Asia, Mexico and Canada
Pricing is generally a product of both size and complexity of the space, as well as a schedule for capturing. Items like multiple trips can effect pricing, as well as shoots requiring off-hour scans while closed. If you provide us enough basic information in your quote request or on a quick phone call, we can generally give you at least a plus/minus 20% estimate, or even a firm quote.
Depending on the what? Where? When? we can usually plan a shoot in 1-2 weeks (or less time if you happen to be in our backyard. And yes we do have a very big backyard), but rarely more than 3-4 weeks.
